Let's not get too silly. Daniels has an argument but Nussmier is trash.

Meh, Nussmeier hasn't done anything yet but he has a much higher ceiling than both Jefferson and Daniels.

Jefferson has barely played QB and he was very raw coming out of high school.

His stats have improved each year but I believe with a better OC in Dan Enos, he will see much better improvement.

If Enos can take a QB like Brandon Allen who was looking at getting benched to one of the best QBs in the nation then he can do the same with KJ.

What makes you think Dan Enos is a better OC than Kendal Briles?

Not my debate, but Enos was here when Bert was here and so was Sam and he did a great job. Even this board talked about how good he did.

Sam knows first hand what Enos can do so hopefully they can be successful offensively.

I think Sam wants to go more north and south with running plays and Briles liked the swing passes and sweeps and such it seems to me.

Hopefully we’ll use our tight ends more as well.

But the defense is the biggest question mark.

He has a better history of QB development.

One of the most frustrating things about last season is when KJ went down, Malik Hornsby had no clue of what he was doing and he had been on campus a few years.

In an age where you can get a developed QB from the portal, Sam didn't get one last year but instead kept Hornsby who had made zero progress in two years. That lost games last year.

I watched the spring practice and I was pleased at how all the QBs looked better than last spring. Arkansas will have a backup next year that will move the chains and not look like a complete fool.

I mean quarterback development and running an offense are two very different things.

If you'd have hired him as your QB coach, that'd be one thing but he doesn't seem to be a high level OC.

The last time Dan Enos and Pittman were on staff together Arkansas was #1 in the nation in offensive efficiency.

Is that good?

Is that the only time his offense has broken the top 30?

Dunno. What I do know is that it's the only time Pittman and Enos were on staff at the same time.

No one in Fayetteville is worried.

Well of course not, everyone always assumes they automatically upgraded.

In the offensive efficiency world, Alabama fans aren't looking at the fact that they just got rid of #7 in favor of #39.

Just like Arkansas fans aren't talking about how they switched #23 for #40.

Didn't Arkansas fans say the same thing last year? Then the bottom fell out!

Enos wasn’t on the staff last year. What are you talking about, or do you even have a clue?

That's not even remotely close to true.

No one thought we upgraded when Pittman left for Georgia and we got Kurt Anderson. The line play afterwards solidified the feeling.
