Cullman Regional Medical Center confirms to AP that hospital was struck by tornado...no known deaths/injuries at this moment #alwx

If there aren't dozens of deaths from today, I'll be amazed. These things have hit some very populated areas.

Tornado EMERGENCY for Tuscaloosa now.

Highest level of Tornado Warning that they only issue when a confirmed Large Tornado is on the ground.

YIKES!! Seriously, if you're in the city of Tuscaloosa watch out. Remember what that tornado did on Dec 16, 2000. This one appears to be heading north of there towards the heart of town.



...TORNADO EMERGENCY CONTINUES FOR GEIGER AND PANOLA...

AT 405 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR AND STORM
SPOTTERS WERE TRACKING A LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO.
THIS
IS AN EMERGENCY FOR THE FIRST AND SECOND STORM TRACKING OUT OF
MISSISSIPPI. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR NEW WEST GREENE...OR 10
MILES SOUTH OF ALICEVILLE...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 55 MPH.

THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
MANTUA...BENEVOLA AND UNION AROUND 420 PM CDT.
JENA AND 8 MILES NORTHWEST OF KNOXVILLE AROUND 425 PM CDT.
NORTHPORT...COKER AND 8 MILES SOUTHEAST OF LAKE LURLEEN STATE PARK
AROUND 440 PM CDT.
BRYANT DENNY STADIUM AND MCFARLAND MALL AROUND 445 PM CDT.

It's possible.

The tornado in north tuscaloosa is confirmed by Sheriff Deputies.

The one south in Tuscaloosa is the one that will be headed towards Bham.

Stormsquad.net has a live tornado being filmed right now in northern Alabama. Not sure on town though. Just went by a gas station.
