Funny thing about Montgomery, we never really get hit with this crap. We had a tornado a few years back take out a Fun Zone and a few apartments, but really, the bad weather tends to avoid us.
And right now I'm seeing blue skies. I think we're supposed to see bad weather later tonight.

Praying for everyone. Glad I got the hell out of Huntsville, and moved down to the coast. Nothing but wind here, thank God!

Today will be the worst in Alabama history, I'm betting.

the worst Alabama has seen since the Super Outbreak?
In terms of long track storms it's possible. I think this is similar to the 1994 Palm Sunday outbreak. The one that spawned the F4 that hit a church in Piedmont, AL during morning services and killed 20 people. That outbreak dropped many tornadoes across North Ala and North GA.

I don't know about our geography, but Montgomery has to be on some sort of plateau, because it seems as though the weather splits over us, never hitting dead on.

Thanks, CC. It's headed your way, so you be safe, too. It will be there in 13 minutes.
Thanks, sweetie - I saw that earlier, appreciate you thinking about us. Y'all kept me company at work today. The only thing that sucks about the new job is that it is 30 minutes away in Huntsville. I hate being away on days like this.
Sirens again. frick.

What should have been a fifteen minute drive turned into almost an hour drive.
We've got no power or landline. It's eerily calm here right now.

Tornado on the ground, no doubt. Debris Ball is very, very evident.

I don't have any video of a tornado but I got a video of the wind and some sirens going off.
