We weren’t doing that 10 years ago. We missed on Sumlin. We didn’t miss on Jimbo. It’s a matter of when, not if.
I hope you guys do win a lot of games. I like A&M, despite saying otherwise on here all the time.

We do win. Just not enough. Working really hard to change that.

This thread isn't about Arkansas.

If your committed to winning, how about winning something? It's just more embarrassing when you throw money everywhere and don't win a dam thing!!

Am I the only person alive who didn’t expect us to win overnight?
I had no idea our SEC brethren thought so highly of us as to anticipate such immediate results from our newly minted changes.
I guess we should be flattered?

Patience, Sir, patience.

Is Aggy stupid ? Aranda is Chavis 2.0. LSU has the defensive recruits that Aggy does not . They can keep switching DCs and still maintain the same level of defense .

Recruiting is a big piece, for sure.
Whoever our new DC is, he (and Fisher) will target recruits who fit his system.
Not sure why you’d imply otherwise?

You can’t have him, op. Like the delicious dessert at thanksgiving, it’s terrible and you don’t want any, so leave him to us.

Call me crazy but I don’t think Aranda is the type to jump ship to another university in the same division.

Coach O was just bragging a couple days about how loyal Aranda is, I wonder why? ;-)

Speaking of other-worldly :
This was interesting too ....
Should Aranda voluntarily leave LSU for a non-head coaching position before Dec. 1, 2019, he would owe LSU 40 percent of the remaining salary if his new employer is within 500 miles of Baton Rouge. Should the new job offer come from a college program outside the geographic range, the buyout decreases to just 15 percent of the contract value.
Obviously, the measure is in place to help prevent Aranda from ending up at an SEC West rival. The drama involved when former defensive coordinator John Chavis left for Texas A&M makes it pretty easy to see why athletic director Joe Alleva added such a provision.
