jackmanusc,

Thanks, brotha! I'll forward this info to my brother. I appreciate it.

In Missouri, we call flippy cups just "cups" or "cups tournament". I like your number one (drinking while staring at girls in dresses), but flippy cups must be ranked higher than beer pong.

The reason it needs to be ranked higher is because flip cup tournaments can involve a countless number of people enjoying the beer game while competing in teams.

Flippy Cups >>>>> Beer Pong

How many Mizzou fans do you think will be there this weekend? Rough estimate.

I'm not sure what the estimate will be. What's the Mizzou ticket allotment? I bet that Mizzou will fill the allotment and perhaps a bit more. Perhaps not.

In the Big 12, people always said we didn't travel well. However, it's very hard to use history as a basis for this season. The hype surrounding Mizzou in the SEC is at an all time high. Our fans are very excited to be in the SEC, season tickets have sold out, and my speculation is that our fans will travel better than they've done in the past.

The only reason I don't see a lot of Mizzou fans making the trip is because, well, that's a damn trip!

I still expect a ton of them though. Not every day your team is playing it's first ever road conference game.

I suspect the Mizzou fans will represent well in Columbia. We may not break records or bring an armada like Georgia or Alabama, but we won't be absent either.

Any other good suggestions on cool things to do in Columbia, SC on gameday or this weekend in general?

Oh now you did it, fricker! I want to bite so hard, but I can't allow myself to be fished by you.

Honestly, though, talk to a Missourian about Civil War history.

They buy a bunch of lipton sweet tea and set it out in the sun for a day. Isn't that how everyone makes sweet tea?

FightTiger,

Look on the first page of this thread. Someone posted info on tailgating and bars/restaurants.

I'm not OT rich, so I'm afraid even I have never tailgated in one of those before. Though not very many people have. I've seen the inside though, very nice.

I still tailgate in the fairgrounds. Row one, spot one. Hard to beat that. The Cockabooses are for the ballers...

here's what they need to do....

1. go out tonight in downtown Greenville. not sure if they're stilling having the "Downtown Alive" on Thursdays, but there will be 1000's of young people downtown tonight.

2. Meet some SC fans that are going to the game. There will be a lot of people coming from Greenville.

3. Follow their plan, including going out in 5 Points or the Vista after the game to watch FSU crush Clemson.
