If hes that bad, why does he bother yall so much? Same with Lane. You guys are all over LSU athletics lately. Its very weird.

But , you are an Arky fan. Its probably more fun following the tigers.

I take it back. Carry on.

Hey Siri, is Will Wade the only coach who didn’t play HS basketball and has a winning record against the Arkansas Razorbacks?

he won an SEC regular season championship, something Arkansas hasn't done this century

He's been a D1 head coach 12 seasons.

He's won at least 20 games 9 seasons.
He's won 4 conference regular season titles, and 2 conference tournament titles.
He's finished 2nd in conference play another 4 times.
7 NCAA tournament appearances, with another guaranteed if they'd have had the tourney the covid year (21 wins and tied for 2nd in the SEC).
1 NIT (first year at LSU), 1 CIT appearance (first year at Chatanooga).

More to the point- while at LSU, he averaged 21 wins, 11 conference wins a season, and won the conference once.

Who fricking cares what he did in high school, or if he ever played? He obviously knows how to coach and win, which is what his job is.

But DIDN'T PLAY IN HIGH SCHOOL? No wonder he's never won anything and was fired for cheating

Yet, the corn dogs are celebrating like they just hired a Calipari level coach.

Maybe this is why Dickie V has such a vendetta against Wade; he's not in the club. God knows he doesn't care about cheating

Hey Siri, what is Will Wade’s record against Arkansas?

“As of March 2026, Will Wade has an all-time record of 5–4 against the Arkansas Razorbacks”

LSU could have have had a coach like Schertz and settled for a has-been in Wade instead. I love it

Such a dumb post.

Here are a few coaches who were very successful but did not play sports in high school. There are many examples, but here are a few…

Todd Haley NFL HC
Mike Leach NCAAF HC
Joe Madden MLB Manager
Eric Spoelstra NBA HC

Stop shitposting, go outside & get some fresh air.

Only Todd Haley did not play the sport he coaches in high school. All the others were accomplished athletes in their sport in high school. It is super rare to be such an accomplished coach at the highest levels after not playing that sport in high school.

Also, not a dig at tPear, just saying it is a rare thing.

Many good coaches did not play the sport at least on a high level.

According to the Tiger rant, you’re don’t understand if you didn’t play. Ironic…

I was thinking maybe he went to some hood high school where 8th graders were dunking. But I'm pretty sure he didn't go to a hood high school, which makes it even more puzzling. How the frick is this even possible?
