Follow me since its so hard for you to connect conversations.

You started a thread about how hypocritical OM fans are for calling out Dak for getting in trouble but not having a problem with their own player getting in trouble for the same thing.

I replied that any response OM fans give when a MSU player gets in trouble is out of the hypocrisy of when the shoe is on the other foot. Same exact noise was brought on Breeland Speaks for his dui which was before Dak's. You labeled OM a haven for evil and how the inmates run the asylum, so when the face of your program does the exact same thing, we laugh at your glass house. All out of hypocrisy.

I gave other examples of MSU hypocrisy regarding cheating. Sorry that was too much for you to follow.

Howland is probably going to be the best hire in Mississippi sports in a long, long time. Cheating or not. It's still surreal that Stricklin landed him.

If he made him pitch while hung over, call it time served and move on.

When a 5* from Florida all of sudden puts MSU in his top 3 when he's never visited them, you know you got something rolling. Howland will push AK to a level he's never been to before. Hopefully for his sake it isnt out the door.

If he had 2 beers he would have said 2 beers. A couple of drinks probably means 3-4 mixed drinks that means he was over the .08 limit. Was he too drunk to drive straight and stay on the road, probably not. But if you are arguing that the had a couple (2) of beers and wasn't over the limit then . It was inconclusive because the cop didn't want to be a dick to Dak.

I'm still not sure what you're trying to get at? I think most Ole Miss fans would agree if you get a DUI, you should be punished, whether that is suspended 1 game or 5 games depending on the sport. Bianco chose not to punish him that way. I don't like it , and I'm sure most don't. But with Speaks or this pitcher, I don't think any of us have talked about them being up for Sainthood like State fans do with Dak. That's one reason Ole Miss fans made it to be such a big deal. But the main reason is you and most of the State fans on here spend more time bashing the integrity of our players and coaches than actually talking about recruiting, matchups, etc.. that it's nice to shove it back in your face that y'all are huge hypocrites. With the exception for Vandy, just about every SEC team has about the same % of athletes that are good kids, troubled kids that will grow up, and guys that will end up being an embarrassment to their school, well maybe also excluding the culture Butch has brought to knoxville, but you get my point. ALL SEC schools have players getting in trouble and coaches making sure the way the players are punished doesn't punish the team too much. Get over it.

Is it just me or is the Ole Miss/State rivalry extra salty this off-season?

If you hear any mocking of a state player getting in trouble it is out of hypocrisy due to a previous reaction to state fans when an OM kid got into similar trouble.

This has been going on forever and you're going to seriously try and claim that we were the first ones to start it? LULZ

You should have been here for the pillow fight threads of 2008 - 2010. It was extra salty but no one cared.

I've noticed that the alters are getting out of control for sure. Hopefully the Mods can clean that up somehow.

FIFY

I agree with everything else you said though. He was a great hire and it will push Ole Miss basketball as well.
