That’s crap. He isn’t losing a million dollars next year. LSU is covering the buyout which (after taxes)means he’ll maybe cost the school 3-3.5+ next year.

Its easy to get lost in the whole 2.0 vs 2.2 thing as insignificant but that's 200k extra a year. That bonus alone is more than most Americans make in a year. And he gets to take his wife home. It's not that crazy. These guys have to strike while the irons hot. I remember bo Pellini being the best defensive mind in football and look at what that 1 year back at lsu cost him. He probably doesn't make 200k a year now.

Good classy post. I don't know if any DC is worth over 2 million. The cost of doing business just keeps climbing and can't be good for the sport. At some point the bubble has to burst I would think.

Some of these LSU fans having a problem with Mizzou is about as weird a thing in sports I’ve ever seen.
The number of threads y’all have made is hilarious. Baker’s wife wanted to get back home. It is what it is. With your alls schedule next year and BK’s inability to handle stress, Baker could be fired by him twice in 4 years.

Baker was co-coordinator so it's all good plus after LSU dicked him around a few years ago and goes back says alot about his character good riddance
