Here's the report from State scrimmage

First, Arkansas sucks.
Now to the scrimmage:
Costello and Rogers ran QB1/QB2. Schrader seems to be out of the picture.
Both quarterbacks made plays. Costello has a big arm and that is sometimes a problem in Leach's offense, which relies on receivers to catch and run.
Receivers are stepping up. A couple of young guys looking good.
First team offensive line stood out. Not too high on the depth. Leach was impressed with the first team but praise for the second team ended at "it at least looked like football."
Defensive line got good push and secondary found the ball well. Special teams are going to be fine.

I don't follow MSU football that much, but is there any chance Schrader can play another position? I know he was an ATH out of HS and he seems like a pretty tough dude.

I doubt it. He's from Charlotte, NC. He may end up finding a home at an ACC school or he might end up out at Oregon. He's perfect for Moorhead's offense.

I'm feeling much better about this team than I was a month ago. Knowing we have almost 3 weeks to get better makes me a little wooly.

Correct, but he was only interested in going there because of Moorhead. His point still stands. He’ll get looks from Oregon, but I doubt he goes there. Honestly, he should look at UVA. His skill set is a lot like Keayton Thompson’s, who I think will be successful in Bronco’s offense.
