Part of that, big part isn’t emphasizing physical toughness.
This is obviously the case. Very soft team.

66-10 the last two games of the season. I know how that shite feels. We fired Stoops. Now you won’t fire DeBoer but that seat has to be warming up.

You guys still haven’t learned after today lol?
I would take IU’s entire OL + WR1 + RB1 + RB2 + QB right now. Maybe true if their defense, but you stargazers need to let it go.
They don’t have a talent deficiency.

This Indiana team looks like it's capable of curb stomping everyone, what a team Cignetti has built out of 3 stars
That being said, I expected Alabama to put up more of a fight than this. I'm an Arkansas fan and feel secondhand embarrassment. 2025 Arkansas would at least score a touchdown against them, if not a couple.
Something is broken on that team, coaching staff, and roster. This performance isn't indicative of talent, it's something else

Bama didn’t just lose… they got their entire Wikipedia page edited in real time. Nick Saban built a dynasty and y’all turned it into a Timeshare. Five-star roster, two-star effort, zero-star heart. That wasn’t a playoff game … that was a Netflix true crime documentary:
“Once Great: The Fall of Alabama Football.”

Got run over by Indiana. They are a good team. Maybe you can get better through the port hole?

It giveth, it taketh away.
It took away some needed pieces when Saban left, need to get some good ones back.

Funny, looks like the same thing happened to your team.
Lost.
Lost.

Georgia beat you 28-7 and Indiana beat you 38-3. Those were your last two games. 66-10

Anyone who’s watched those teams throughout the season knew Indiana was gonna take that game…

The frequency of the blowouts is what surprised me
Even great programs can get smoked. But three times in one season? No. That's not good
Also, the lack of physical play on the line and ability to run are shocking. Maybe Deboer is a quarterback whisperer but you still need to run effectively.
The team has started to accept losing and even losing badly as an outcome. Maybe this is partly a NIL issue. But if you don't lay it at the feet of the head coach then you don't have anyone to assume responsibility and it will happen more.
Alabama might have been better off if they lost to Auburn this year. At least if Michigan had reached for Deboer then Alabama would already be rebuilding instead of one more year with a dead coach walking.
