4. Anthony Gordon - Washington State - 195.3
5. Justin Fields - Ohio State - 192.4
6. Tyler Johnson III - UAB - 185.8

Where is Trevor Lawrence? Has that schedule been too much for the Tigers? What's happened to him?

Lawrence reminds me of Jameis in 2014. Just going through the motions since he can't go pro yet.

To provide a serious answer- last year he had to come in and compete for the job and didn't win it until several weeks into the season. He also had an elite defense.

He just spent 9 months hearing how he's god's gift to football. Some people, Andrew Luck for example, can take that in stride because they really just don't give a frick how they're viewed by the general public. Some people let the fame get to their head. Who knows if that's happening to Lawrence, but it's plausible. He's still like a 19 year old kid after all. He's probably the most physically talented quarterback to play college football in the last 30 years and has two elite receivers, I'm sure he'll turn it around

Jeff, Joe, Schmo...his name ought to be Jeff. I don't know why, but he ain't a Joe. Jeff with Burrows is more...Hollywood-sounding.

Half of the LSU fans here have gotten Ja'Marr Chase's name wrong.

I think we can cut a fan of a different team a little slack.

Dude, even if I give Trevor the benefit of the doubt in a lot of areas, Cam Newton was still a more gifted athlete than him.

Yep, Trevor Lawrence is literally just tall... and even that is Peyton Manning tall where he’s a 6’2 body with a neck that makes him 6’5.

Well yea, so is Jalen Hurts, Nick Marshall, Tim Tebow, Kyler Murray, etc.

Lawrence is big, mobile, and has an absolute cannon for an arm. Cam has never been a great passer. A physically talented QB to me is one with great mechanics and a howitzer attached to his shoulder. Being 6'6" helps too. The kid is the prototype

Lawrence in a little funk to start the year but far from bad, he doesnt even need to play well until playoffs really. Clemson should steamroll everyone remaining on their schedule. It's cupcake city.

Has there ever been a more appropriate name for an Ole Miss player?
