Why is he in the booth for this game? Seems like a conflict of interest on his part.

How is it a "conflict of interest"?

Talk to his bosses. His bosses assigned him to the game.

He's been doing OSU games for years. He's actually pretty bias against OSU over the years...at least that's what the Buckeye faithful have said over the years.

And why he picked up his family and moved out of Columbus, OH to Nashville 4 years ago.

He's been pretty fair all night. Kirk is one of the better commentators. I don't envy him, but he has been professional. Personally, I'd probably try to get out of doing similar assignments, but as long as he stays professional, I see no problem with it.

Herbstreet picked Arizona State to be in the College Football Playoffs.

I almost forgot about that.

He's a Meyer apologist...trying to sugar coat their schedule.

I do enjoy her street over most commentators.

However, I have noticed his favoritism for Ohio state several times tonight. Focuses on the more, when a turnover or penalty goes against them it shows.

"Well Ohio state would have had a touchdown if not for the holding call."

Well Ohio state probably doesn't score without those holds on that play.
I think ESPN in general has had an Ohio state bias especially during and coming back from halftime. Showed them more and talked about them much more even though they were trailing.

He's a fantastic analyst. And he's high on Ohio state because they put Bama in a choke hold last year and are expected to be better this year. It's pretty dumb not to be high on them honestly

He is professional but would rather him not do OSU games.

Its Herbstreit by the way....not street, but go ahead and call him Herb avenue for all the hell I care.

He has his nostrils full of Meyers backside. He used to be good until a few years ago....the passion isnt there anymore....its a 9-5 job now.

He's been doing OSU games for years and has shown no bias whatsoever and NOW this thread finally pops up?

When OSU is the defending champs and legitimately the favorite to repeat?

Go cry elsewhere.

Do you really think this is the first Ohio State game he's called before?

Herbie is an outstanding college analyst. It's not like his commentating affects the outcome, although his opinions do affect voters.
