Fowler is the one I have a problem with...great studio guy....not a PBP guy. Maybe he was at the CU radio station calling girls gymnastics but as far as I am concerned he is not any good or at least up to network/primetime football PBP announ ing. Put, at least, Musberger back in the primetime slot or hire back Ron Franklin...there are many better primetime announcers that are much better than Fowler at play-by-play.

It's only a conflict of interest if him calling the game somehow effects the outcome, it doesn't IMO

Even considering Herbie's background: his father played & captained a Buckeye team, his wife was a cheerleader, he himself was the starting QB & team captain...he still remains decently unbiased. Last nite it was more ESPN starting to beat the drums, blowing up the Buckeyes & all those tv sets that follow them for higher ratings. Get used to it the deeper into the season it gets. Consider his bias in comparison to Finebaum's for bama & that clown did not even attend bama.
