It’s bs that notre dame gets a bye while everyone else has to play. If you are going to let the Irish in without playing, you need to set playoffs before this weekend. Last year, Bama gets in on a bye, but auburn has to play Georgia. Winner in loser out. Go to eight and get rid of conference championship games. This system is so screwed up

So Herbie wants to reward them based on a loss? When Tua was injured, in your back yard.
And lsu spanked them by 20. I get the eye test but come on....

At least we got to watch Oklahoma completely throttle Texas, a team that lost to Maryland, and we also get to watch Ohio state completely tear about Northwestern....

Oh wait

Got blown out by an above average LSU... then lost to a backup qb in their own back yard.

Nah

Georgia should have won today and would beat the brakes off #2-4. Clemson, ND, OK have no shot at a title. Will get destroyed by Alabama.

I think either way, once we see the CFP results for this year, we're probably going to see expansion. As I'm pretty sure the CFP is going to be bad this year.

Not sure it'll be the answer though. Think 6 is perfect and 8 would be too many.

If this happens we should demand the sugar bowl. We only have 2 losses in regulation!!!

Only thing I agree with him on is they will move ND down to #4 to punish them for not being in a conference.

So we should just ignore all the bad coaching decisions by Kirby and Cheney? Act like it didn’t happen?

Spot on. It’ll be Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma. Ohio State will be first out, with their loss compared to OU. If Alabama was UGAs only loss they’d probably get in, but not with two losses. Don’t know why you’re getting so many downvotes. This would be my bet, and the most logical.

Along the same lines...so we should just ignore that UGA outplayed Bama? Act like it didn’t happen?

You were noticeably absent until the game was over.
