Herbie's Picks

Teams taking a slight step back
Washington State
LSU
UCF
UAB
Central Michigan

He did say Greedy Williams is a baller. I can't argue with that.

“Slight”

Almost zero returning offensive production, replacing BYU and Tennessee with Miami and Georgia. An OC who two years ago we decided wasn’t good enough for the job.

Honestly it's hard for any intelligent LSU fan to argue with that.

We are a 7 win team this year I think. That is a slight step back from 9.

For a rich laugh you can go to the rant and read about how we will win 11-12 games this year....but those people are idiots.

Naw, Y'all's defense is too good. They will get you to 9-10 wins

Its lovely to be listed with such elite programs that won national championships just a year ago.

One slight step backwards for Coach O. One giant leap [backwards] for LSU.

Glad to see Herbie is really going out on a limb with his predictions this season.

“LSU and intelligent” are about as antonymous as “Arkansas and reasonable”.

I don't think we have the offense to beat Auburn, UGA, or Bama....so we start with having to win every other game to get to 9....if that happens I'll be pleasantly surprised.

If Burrow sucks we’ll lose a lot of 17-3 games. Defense is nasty and special teams will be solid. Just a shite schedule, shite OC, and somehow we fricked up recruiting running backs which seemingly grow on trees

We also hired a domestic abusing head coach

What a bold statement, first member of the CFB media to suggest such a thing that I have seen

Miami - L (but not certain)
SE Louisiana - W
Auburn - L
La Tech - W
Ole Miss - W
Florida - L (only because it's at the swamp)
Georgia - L (night game could play in LSU's favor)
Miss State - W
Alabama - L
Arkansas - W
Rice - W
Aggy - W (Aggy is a year away from competing in this game)

7 wins is the likely floor and 10 wins is absolutely possible.
