Peyton threw 4 first half picks in 96. Florida went up 35-0.

I know he eventually passed for a ton of yards and got them within a touchdown but the offense definitely helped cost them that game.

The 1998 Florida team wasn't nearly as good as the Florida teams Peyton played and anyone who watched both teams knows why Tee Martin didn't get as much pub as Peyton. Martin was 7/20 for 64 yards in the 1998 Florida game. Florida honestly dominated the box score in that game but lost. Martin didn't carry Tennessee to victory in really any game in that season

Have to disagree. 98 UF lost 2 games on the road to the two teams that played for the national championship. 97 was the year UF wasn’t as good

Tee Martin easily.

I have no idea how it could be anyone else as second to Manning.

Conredge Holloway, Casey Clausen, Heath Shuler, Tee Martin Man, that is a bleak group as your second best QB ever.

Holloway is a legend, look him up.

Shular had an NFL career cut short by injury. 2nd in Heisman voting, 3rd pick in the draft. Held Vols passing records until Manning. Was a blue dog democrat senator in North Carolina.

Clausen, just under 10,000 (9,770) yards passing and 75 TDs in his time as a Vol.

Tony Robinson was played by keanu reeves in “the replacements” as the superbowl winning QB during the strike year.

I don't remember specifics but this doesn't seem right.

Seems like Manning had them up big in 1996 then UF stormed back and won.

In 1997 UF blew them out from the get go.

Update: I'm wrong, you're right. Must've been 1995, but I do remember UT getting up big and then blowing it with Manning at QB.

Just because your knowledge is limited, it doesn’t mean the options are.

My knowledge is not limited at all. Martin had one of the best QB ratings in school history and won the natty and finally beat UF after you had failed to do so for years.

Sounds like you may not appreciate him as well as you should. I'd kind of get it if he sucked at QB but you won anyway. That's not the case.

Not sure about him because he is a 25 year old playing against 18 year olds, it doesn’t count.

Am I doing that right?

All those years run together. It was definitely his Jr year. It was the same day as the LSU/Auburn fire game.

I don't remember the senior year game as much. It was the same day as the LSU/Auburn Cecil the Diesel game.

On a side note, those years where Florida/tenn played at 230 and lsu/auburn played at night during week 3 were fantastic.

He plays not to screw it up.

He doesn't throw into tight windows.
He doesn't throw receivers open.
Hyatt had single digit contested catches on the season. Out of 67 catches.

Give Hooker the talent Stetson Midget III had to work with.

He’s my favorite QB in Tennessee history. He’s a lot better than some of our own fans realize

According to Tennessee, they have the more talented offense.

Our leading wide receiver grew up a Tennessee fan. He was never offered.

Stetson has heard this all of his life.

I'm sure he will cry into another glass of pappy after he wins another national championship.
