I know it’s hard for you guys down there with your simpleton education but why is your coach and fans bitching about Bama LSU not being a night game when your own head coach has said we have had 8 straight night games for Bama before I got here ? You had eight straight and you still think it should always happen ? lol wonder how Bama feels about being screwed for that long ?

Check the record. I don't think Bama feels screwed at all. Seems to have mostly worked out.

I'll try to explain it again in simple language. Night games are a part of our tradition. We almost always had home games at night before TV contracts. It's unreasonable to expect every game to be at night now, but our fans will always complain. Schools like Bama, for example, have never cared about night games. They just show up, file in before the game, and file out afterwards. Tailgating is a day long affair at LSU, unlike some other places, including the Big 12 schools.

Dumb logic. "We like night games and we like to tailgate" is all you've said this is every team in the SEC

No it's not. Now, I have been to the Grove many times. It is a good tailgating environment, and I can see how y'all would want to make a day of it and then go to the game at night, but not every school is like that.

Not what he said at all. He said people get angry because it's tradition.

Yeah: as a matter of fact, every SEC team has had the same “tradition” for decades now

A tradition only you recognize and gives a severe advantage for every home game and actively takes a night spot for other teams. Other program traditions do not affect other programs. Your supposed tradition does. I get fighting for night games they are fun and give any home team an advantage but believing you deserve it because you are LSU and we say we should have it is lame.

Found the "Bama fan" who's never been to a Bama game. You have an RV lot where some people tailgate. Beyond that, some of the students hang out on the strip before and after the game. It's actually one of the worst tailgating environments in the SEC.

I didn't say LSU should only get night games, I'm just saying people get agitated because it's tradition.

I get that most here don't do a lot of historical reading, but LSU is one of the programs widely credited for pioneering night college football games. It's a whole thing.

No I understand that LSU standardized night games and that to yall it is a tradition but the argument was why does everyone complain when you get night games far more consistently than anyone else and its a fair argument when those night games take away from everyone else. That tradition should not veto other teams abilities to have night games especially on weeks you dont deserve it.

It's just like how Alabama and Tennessee fans would get pissed if they had to play on any weekend other than the third Saturday in October.

It personally doesn't matter to me, a 2:30 game is great in November, I think the crowd is even more amped up than when it's already been dark for hours at kickoff.
