please refer to the yards per touch stat for both players
okay and if he would have played 2 more games, on pace with average, he would have had 2168.8 yards and 20 tds
2168.8>1992

Or he'd have pulled himself or feigned injury.

Heisman year comparison: '09 Ingram vs. '85 Jackson (Posted on 12/12/12 at 1:18 p.m.)
Ingram:
271 rushes for 1658 yards and 17 TDs
32 receptions for 334 yards and 3 TDs
Total = 1992 yards and 20 TDs and 6.6 yards per touch
Jackson:
278 rushes for 1786 yards and 17 TDs
4 receptions for 73 yards and 0 TDs
Total = 1859 yards and 17 TDs and 6.6 yards per touch
1992 > 1859
20 > 17
Ingram '09 > Bo '85
Plus, Ingram was just a sophomore and Bo was a senior. And Ingram led his team to an undefeated season and Bo led his to 4 losses.

I forgot receiving yards.
Did you just out your alter?

averages really aren't your strong suit.
they both averaged 6.6 yards per touch of the football. if you gave them the same # of touches, they would have the same # of yards. going by yards per game is not the most accurate stat. yards per play is much better.

It's Gooddell's fault.

Why? Ingram had a better Heisman season. Nothing wrong with that.

either you mad that 09 Ingram is just as good as 85 Jackson
OR
you mad that 09 Ingram is just as bad as 85 Jackson.
which is it. Also note that 09 Ingram played in a much more difficult SEC era than Bo did.
Posted on 12/12/12 at 1:36 pm to FlukerFlakes
Without stat padding against southwest Louisiana or whoever they are now, Bo only had like 13 or 14 TDs that year. Incredibly weak heisman imo
Posted on 12/12/12 at 1:36 pm to TreyAnastasio
Toby Gerhart was better than Ingram but not quite as good as Bo.
