Herschel Walker = greatest SEC running back ever, and possibly the greatest ever (but I tend to lean toward Barry Sanders)

Sanders is one of the GOATs, but his short yardage game left a lot to be desired. In the pro's he just wasn't a touchdown machine compared to other HoF backs. That's the one thing holding him back from being the undisputed greatest.

I went to school when Bo played and I swear he was the most built person I have ever seen in person. Enormous thighs.

He was also a glimpse of otherworldliness as a RB. Often he was the only threat on offense, the defense would stack the box and he just made grown men look silly.

Ingram '09 > Bo '85

Ingram: 271 rushes for 1658 yards and 17 TDs

Jackson: 309 rushes for 1915 yards and 18 TDs

Manzeil: 184 rushes for 1181 yards and 19 TDs

JFF, with just a 1/4 of his game, more productive than Ingram...if we are doing a stat thing.

Stats are a wonderful thing, they mean what we want them to mean.

The other 3/4's of JFF: 273/400, 3,419 yards, 24 td's.

Figures don't lie, liars figure.

You are right about making them mean what you want. Daily practice here. Like Little League batting averages, dumbest stat in the world.

Ron Dayne would get like 240yds/gm against the likes of Illinois, Indiana and Northwestern. Not impressive.
