So Bama fans should want LF7 to win it because we already have so much and LSU has so little?

Cook's carries come against very weak competition.

Cook has faced, on average, better run defenses than Henry, Elliott, and Fournette.

Runs of 20 yards or more:

Fournette: 15

Henry: 15

Elliott: 10

Cook: 22

I honestly think they'll pull some shite out of their arse and give it to the QB from Clemson provided he don't shite the bed in the ACC CG. IMO Henry should win it.

Cook leads Heisman contenders in YPC

Also plays in a very weak conference, making it hard to tell just how good he really is. Florida was doing pretty well against him until their defense just couldn't do all the work on their own anymore. If I'm counting correctly, he had roughly 30 yards in the first half. Quick estimate is that at least half of his 183 yards and both touchdowns came in the 4th quarter.

Nothing to specifically take away from him, as Florida is a seriously stout defense. Just not sure his YPC would nearly be as high in the SEC.

How can you knock Cook for this and in the same breath give Henry credit for getting a metric ton of carries in the second half of games? They both wear defenses down.

Cook even said he knew he had them when he saw their hands on their hips. Cook is such a high caliber athlete that he can keep going.

Oh, and again, Cook has faced, on average, better run defenses than Fournette, Henry, and Elliott.

You really think Cook would have trouble against A&M, Auburn, LSU, and Arkansas?

Yes, better run defenses.

LF won't be in NYC. It will be Henry, McCaffrey, Mayfield, and Watson. Henry will win unless he does zero against Florida. He'll probably get his 150, though. LF will be a favorite next year.

Only thing Henry led in was total carries and TD's (by a couple). Essentially he was a big strong mule.

Except your theory doesnt hold up against comparable opponents...

Fournette

745 SEC west yards
149 per game
123 attempts
6.05 ypc
8tds

Henry

933 SEC west yards
186.6 a game
150 attempts
6.22 ypc
7tds

Fouryardsnet padded his stats when L5U was playing cupcakes.

if we're being completely honest, the SEC isn't exactly strong this season. Fournette has had two sub 100 yard games all season, yet he apparently only played well against bad defenses. By that notion, 6 of the 8 other SEC games he played in were against bad teams.

The Heisman is a QB or overrated Bama RB trophy now.

at 6.05 ypc against SEC West teams, if you give him 27 more attempts to match henry's carry totals, he'd have 908 yards. So a difference of 25 rushing yards and .15 ypc. Failing to see what you're trying to say here. Quite simply, Fournette's team went downhill in November, and Alabama's did the opposite.

Fournette has as much of a chance of winning the Heisman as I do.

But really, I don't know why LSU fans are bothering with football at this point. You should probably start preparing your moral victory posts for when Ben Simmons doesn't make the tournament and gets drafted #1 overall.
