LSU probably needs to go the independent route since they are what Notre Dame used to be. LSU can get their own tv deal. Bama, UGA, Aggies been riding our coattails for too long and we don't need Texas joining them.

Yeah, I’m especially tired of programs like Bama and Georgia using us only to get a ratings bump on the the old tele.

You might get NC State and Virginia Tech but North Carolina and Virginia will go to the B1G.

Yes, for the soft arse schedule.

As they should. Clemson and FSU along with Vtech and NC state would be better fit culturally for SEC

Clemson isn't similar to a SEC school. It's built different.

Texass knows all too well about ruining conferences.

Said a fan of the team who was the first domino to fall for the SWC.

And Nebraska ruined the Big 12.

Only the Walmart shirt-wearing UNC fans who want to go to the SEC. Those who graduated from or are educated want to go to the B1G. It doesn't matter what the Walmart shirt wearers want. The only people who matter will make the decision.

I have a law degree from UNC boss. The important part of the fanbase is the ex-frat boys/current corporate execs who want the SEC. These guys are real southern and don't want to socialize with fricking Ohioans or Michiganders.

Clemson is a carbon copy of Auburn. It's exactly like an SEC school.

And it's funny. Because regardless of what Mike Slive thought - and his record was pretty much beyond reproach regarding how he guided the SEC - I think Va Tech and NC State would fit so much better, culturally in the SEC. Virginia and UNC are too much "old money". Too Texas - as we're going to learn.

Va Tech and N.C. State would have been the bomb as far as expansion goes. Still would, maybe.

I don't. I think that UVA and UNC are perfect for UT, Vandy, and UK. VT is close enough but I don't see the similarities that everyone else does beyond VT at one point fielding a few decent football teams. UVA has basketball - BOTH men's and women's whereas VT not so much. I'm not sure what the hell NCState has other than an overrated program that couldn't even beat Dooley coached teams.

doesn't seem anything like Auburn.

there's another rumor of Clemson, FSU, Oregon and Washington to Big 10 which would be a big mistake for Clemson.

I don't want to expand. But if we do this would be ideal. Our football is overloaded. This would make SEC baseball AAA. And the basketball would be the best in the country.

Football-crazed ag university in a small town on a lake with corny fans doesn't seem familiar?

Auburn doesn't have a lake.

There are colleges with ag programs in every conference and state.

What makes Clemson more like a Auburn than NC State, Va Tech, etc.

NC State and VT are similar to Auburn and Clemson too. NCSU is in a bigger city though.

I was under the impression that Auburn had a lake. Must be wrong.

This guy ^^^^^ ... lulz

This guy pushes FSU wet dreams like a hooer pushes condoms.

Not one single feasible or logical reason to add FSU.

Yet this guy is still trying to push 30+ year old FSU regret.

Absolutely positively this guy is a FSU fan irl.
