It is the only way to make 7 in the west work. Every west team has to not play one west team.

Not what I heard. Slive said all Western Division will play each other and an EAST team will be dropped from the schedule.

Would make more sense.
It wouldn't work though. If the west teams drop an east opponent, the east teams only play 7 conference games (5+2) instead of 8 (5+3). Also, unless they could quickly line up an OOC team (which depending on already set schedules may or may not be easy to find a team with an available slot), they would only play 11 games and not 12.

2 East teams would play 8 games, 4 would play 7.

Did an Aggie fan really ask if the SEC offices are moving to Dallas?

Damn, they are one dumb group of fans...

Oh yeah, duh, because aTm would need to 2 eastern teams as well to round out an 8 game SEC schedule.

That seems really odd if say the east came down to Team A that went 6-2 in conference play (beating Team B head to head) and Team B that went 6-1 in conference play losing only to Team A. Team B goes to the SECCG based on winning % even though they lost head to head.

I honestly think the SEC adds a 14th team before next football season and we go to a 9-game conference schedule. It would make the most sense.

PAC does 9-games, we should too. Plus, 4 non-conference games has just turned in scheduling 3 cupcakes and 1 decent opponent for most teams. No need for so many cupcakes.
