What about Thompson, Oliver, Ellis Johnson , and Pat Dye? Now name former Auburn coaches who later became Alabama coaches?
You should laugh at the Auburn fan who claims Dye made Bryant successful. Dye's success at Auburn was the knowledge of the game he learned from Bryant. Dye's mannerisms were similar to Bryant. Even ran the wishbone like Bryant.
I wonder if Dye ever regrets had he waited a few more years he would have succeeded Bryant.
As far as Muschamp? We don't claim him. We have to much fun destroying him on the field
