I added another question to my original post.

True, mostly. We have a small winery at Tontitown (where all the WOPS settled) and another one at Goshen. Tontitown used to be known for its Italian dining, and it still is a little bit, but now its mostly just suburban west Springdale.

We have great local golf courses for this area. The Blessing course is outstanding, about five minutes from my house. And Pinnacle in Rogers hosts LPGA annually, about 20 minutes away. There are a few lesser ones in Fayetteville, too.

It's probably because sea food is much more of an acquired taste than red meat.

It all comes down to that fishy taste. Seems people love it or hate it. Otherwise I can't explain a Long John Silvers that has chicken that tastes like fish.

Red meat is also much easier to obtain, so you're just exposed to it much more

In Texas sure. This is red meat central.

With that's said, as a kid I grew up around seafood in NOLA and Alexandria. It was much more common then than beef, which was mostly Ward's burgers when I visited family. Seems like I was always picking around the crawfish in an etouffee, or eating the potatoes at yet crawfish boil. And it isn't any kind of yuck factor, I love Louisiana sausage. Weird.

Thank you for the comment.

Texas is about as good of a food state as there is. BBQ, Tex-Mex, and plenty of cajun that leaks out from Louisiana.

I have yet to find a "good" cajun place here.

Pappadeaux's is a piss poor excuse for Cajun cuisine and you fricks go ape shite over it.

Yeah, I responded to it.

What you ate was probably skate, which is what they make knockoff scallops out of.

Oh and OP, I got married at that winery. Their wine sucks.

It is a kick arse place to party (everyone loved it), but outside of dessert wine they simply don't have anything really worth drinking. Texas can't grow a good wine grape.

And holy shite their kitchen made the worst gumbo ever. Thanks to an open bar none of my Louisiana family was offended.

I've been.

Your list is just...

I can't even put it into words. CS is just boring, bland, and full of ugly people in the middle of no where in Texas.

Naa, bruh. We pulled the ray out of the water ourselves.

I'm from tCoast, remember?

It was less chewy than I expected. I expected some sort of mixture between shark, eel, and octopus. It was a pleasant surprise.

Hell, it sat in lemon juice all day though, so that could have definitely made it less chewy and more digestible.

Yes I have and the fans were great, had a nice time. My brother has quite a few Aggie friends, one amazingly has over 100 family members that have graduated from A n M.
