If you look at stats from last year, 78th is a huge jump from last year. But like others have already said, we beat you with that 130th ranked defense last year, and you had one of your best teams in programs history. Worry about your own school pal.

Unfortunately 78 is much better than about 125… we could have won another Natty last season with a Top50 defense

LSU has played 2 legit P4 teams.
Mizzou has played 1 team in BC that maybe decent in the ACC, and Vandy....and then the blind and deaf. Not really the same

The best offense your "7th rank defense" has faced so far has a Total Offense rank of #81 (Boston College). Followed by #97 Vanderbilt (who you all nearly lost to) and then #127 Buffalo.
And finally.... Let's look at your cupcake of cupcakes.... Murray State ranked 113th!!! Total Offense in the FCS!!! WOW! What a powerhouse! Who could ever defend against them!
Sit down and shut up Mizzery until you play a team with a real offense (which probably won't be my alma mater this year, but I digress.)

It appears so far you do not. I really like this stat about Baker actually:
2021 Missouri DFEI - 111th (no Baker)
2022 Missouri DFEI - 18th (Baker)
2023 Missouri DFEI - 13th (Baker)
2024 Missouri DFEI - 27th (no Baker- 4 games in)
Meanwhile here:
2023 LSU DFEI - 101st (no Baker)
2024 LSU DFEI - 59th (Baker - 4 games in)...and we've lost our #1 DT and best linebacker for the season
Seems like the guy has quite the strong track record already
