How many bad seasons did he have?
Ed Orgeron had 3 bad seasons (5 losses or more) before arriving at LSU. He had two bad seasons at LSU - he had 5 or more losses 1/3 of his time - 2 of 6 seasons - at LSU.
That is the exact same ratio as Lane at Ole Miss. Lane had 5 losses 1/3 of his time - 2 of 6 seasons - at Ole Miss.

Kiffin winning percentage as ole Miss coach -.743
Ed O at Ole Miss- .246
For reference. Ed O at LSU-.742

Another LSU fan loved posting Brian Kelly’s winning percentage when Kelly arrived at LSU. How did that work out for LSU?

Irrelevant to the conversation. You brought up the Ed O and Kiffin comparison. Since you limited the data set I just brought you new data to show you are a dumbass. That simple

Y'all will find out in a year or two.
Difference is whether or not y'all can afford to pay DeCline's buyout at the time of the realization and also afford to hire the best coach or have to suffer through numerous years of program rot until the buyout is affordable.

Brian Kelly was at .740 after two seasons.
Your coach is sitting at .714 after two years.
Remember that lack of self awareness you were crying about last night?

Kittens and his analytics sheets are the gift that keeps on giving! LSU fans think they hired a football savant. Reality can be a cold, hard bitch. Go ask the Raiders, TN, USC, Saban if he's honest about the week before the natty game, and Ole Miss going into the playoffs.

I remember the 2024 LSU/Ole Miss game that Lane Kiffin absolutely gifted to LSU because of horrible first half coaching decisions. You would think LSU fans would remember too, but they seem to have blocked that from their memory.
That Ole Miss team was stacked and was Kiffin’s best team ever. They gave away the LSU game and somehow managed to lose at home to 4-8 Kentucky. It was Kentucky’s only SEC win.
Kiffin took his most talented team ever and went 5-3 in the SEC, finishing the season ranked outside the top 10.
That 2024 Ole Miss team should have absolutely played for a SEC title and made the playoffs. But cute, boneheaded coaching decisions cost them two games. That is Lane Kiffin football.
While he left the poor dog behind, at least he brought the basketball goal with him.
At least he didn’t put the blame for that LSU debacle on himself.

Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin said his postgame message to the team was was: “This sucks guys. I feel for you."
“I don’t really have a lot of positives for you,” Kiffin added. "It’s easier if you get beat by a couple of scores. This was like, our game. We had the game and let it slip away. To go into the bye 6-1, or whatever it is, in really good shape and get healthy, would have been great. This one will be hard. It will be around forever.”

I understand Lane makes bad decisions, every coach does.
DeBoer is out here constantly losing to unranked teams, is that supposed to be better?

Not LSU. He treats them like a hooker who owes him money.

I remember the 2018 LSU/UGA game that Kirby Smart absolutely gifted to LSU because of horrible first half coaching decisions.
The difference between the two is that Kiffin and Ole Miss managed to come back, only losing because of the one drive that made everyone think Nussmeier was a Heisman candidate, while Kirby and UGA never recovered from their complete meltdown.
Would you say Kirby isn't a good coach because of some poor decisions in one game? Or for making poor decisions from time to time?

It's not a one game season though.
