Though I think Stingly is good and will be drafted I think lsu's defense played better without him. Maybe because he had an injury but they seemed better.

I think Stingley let all the accolades and arse kissing from last year get to his head. He seemed he thought he was above the team.

Vice man, Summer of George, Tuscaloosa and most of the Bama posters I like. Then, there’s this bitch called Early Gurley who screws up it for everyone.

I’m sure there are plenty of good Bama fans that would like to kick his arse

Extremely impressed with Max, dude played his arse off with grit.

Proud of the baws that hung in there.

A bright spot in this shite season for us:

Yes, name jokes aside, I like the kid. I don't think he is seeing the whole the field or has the confidence to make every throw yet. Or maybe he is still feeling out pressure. I do think that all of his short comings are due to lack of snaps and he is getting better with each game. I think he plays like a veteran next year, assuming he gets spring reps. My point is that all his issues are from being inexperienced and he can and will be coached up.

I like him but I think the most likely scenario is Myles Brennan just outright takes the spot next year

My friend and I were talking earlier about how surprised we were to see LSU bounce back from what was going on a few weeks ago. It is scary that the dudes left all seem to be inspired to play LSU football. And they’re young. Gonna be a force again really soon.

They found their qb of the future. He is going to be great.

I disagree 100%. Miles is in his 4th year, and has 3 starts. We know now he had back issues all 2018 and likely would not have been able to play significant snaps had Joe B went down in 2018. He was 1-2 vs. MSU, Vandy and MIZZOU. Put up some good numbers, but he had other than Chase, LSU's top 2 returning targets in Marshall and McMath plus Gilbert. TJ had 5 starts, 3-2, looked good vs. SCAR and Arkansas, stunk it up vs Auburn and Aggie. The Bama game I will give a pass because they made LSU and everyone look bad, save Florida last night.

Max played the best 2 games for LSU and in fact has the best 2 wins. I know MIZZOU was 5-5 but that was in the SEC East. Now I do think if LSU plays MIZZOU at home like it should have been, LSU wins over MIZZOU. Without the Opt outs of Chase, Vincent and Shevlin they beat them regardless, but then that would have changed LSU's entire season in my view.

Max has better pre-snap recognition, better pocket mobility, can roll out, run bootleg and pick up a first down with his feet if he has to. Throws a better touch ball than Myles (or TJ) and with strength and conditioning, will get stronger and be able to throw the balls from the far hash to the other side of the field and deep ball.

My view, open competition in the Spring for starting QB and I think Max has a 1 shot lead in the clubhouse.

OL & DL upperclassmen for the most part.

Skill positions nothing but kids, as many true freshmen as anything. Someone forgot to tell them they were playing HS FB last year.

If O can recruit some of the linemen to stay & the SEC schedule next year isn’t a sh*tshow, Tigers should be back to 9 wins & a chance for 10 with a bowl win.

2023 looks like the next NC run if the pattern holds.

I pulled for LSU and those kids like never before in those last two games. That is the kind of kids you can build a championship team around.

I believe by the final snap of the season we were missing

#1 QB

#2 WR
#1 RB

#1 TE
#1 CB
#2 CB
#4 CB
#5 CB
#1 DT
#2 DT
# 3/4 DT

Truly incredible we were able to do anything tbh
You mean those were the offensive linemen y’all meant to have out there?

He played great before he got hurt. The offense didn't seem to be LSU's issue when he was the qb. I give him that. But Johnson is not a freshman anymore and will be tough to beat out. If brennan can do it, then more power to him. Just saying it will be more difficult next year.
