Hats off to Alabama. You were the best team LSU played this season and if LSU didn't make the changes to their offense this offseason you would've been right back in the Playoff.
Hats off to Auburn. You were the best defense LSU played this season. Thank you for defeating Alabama and eliminating Alabama from being in contention for a playoff spot.

You guys are the Kings this year. I look forward to Bama trying to regain the crown next year. Gonna be tough in Baton Rouge but will be fun regardless

Y’all can’t help yourselves. Keep making threads about bama.

Of all games this season this one had me the most worried. As it turned out it was rightfully so, that was a nail biter.
I was more confident in this game vs Clemson than I was against Bama, and Auburn.

It was a complimentary thread.
Kind of like all the Bama threads congratulating LSU.
Relax. No need to be so fragile.

TEXAS
AUBURN
FLORIDA
ALABAMA
GEORGIA
OKLAHOMA
CLEMSON
Of these Auburn had the best scheme and DL personnel and Alabama had the most crazy awesome offensive talent. Clemson probably had the best balance. Florida was game as hell and extremely well prepared . Texas, despite the ridicule they get here, played way over their head and gave us some good shots. Georgia was bloated and uninspired and Oklahoma was a joke.

Great season for LSU, and a great team.
In the first half of the season I said I didn't believe there to be any team in college football that was dominant, and also that it was anyone's championship to win. LSU proved me wrong.
Joe Burrow was the difference. He's an amazing QB. I actually enjoyed watching him play football more than any player in recent memory outside of our own Crimson Tide. I love football, and Burrow is a great football player. He's more than a QB. He's a winner, competitor, and he's GOING to make the plays his team needs him to make.
I'm not taking away from the other players at LSU, or the team as a whole. Joe Burrow is just a special player.
I know the offense changed a great deal and that mattered for Burrow and LSU, but Burrows accuracy, poise, and his reading of defenses jumped through the roof. His individual improvement was so drastic no one could have seen it coming.
I look forward to not having to face Burrow next season. I also look forward to BAMA/LSU. The ball game just took a quantum leap forward in importance and competitiveness once again. It feels more like 2011 than 2018, if that makes sense.

quote:I wanted to congratulate the corndogs and was searching for a way to describe JB and compare him to someone, but its hard to do. The guy is unlike any QB that I ever saw play college football EXCEPT maybe Joe Montana and I am not even sure that gives him proper justice. I,like you, watched LSU as much as I could and I will say without reservation that LSU had the greatest passing attack that has ever been in college football. Not the greatest team, not the greatest offense, but the most dynamic passing game that I have ever witnessed. Congratulations LSU, and as far as AU being the best defense? Maybe, but ya'll still picked up 526 yards in that game. You can thank us for playing that 3-1-7 defense against you, though. Your coaches and JB adjusted to it much quicker than they did against us. Well done, coonasses, well done!

To me that is what was so impressive. The yardage vs the points allowed did not equate. It speaks to how effective y'all performed on defense in the redzone.
