Pierce has flashed every time hes touched the ball.
Sure - UGA just has more *s and UF RBs don't. But UF had Perine and Scarlett the last two years (Perine last year) taking the majority of the carries.
Not really surprising that Pierce doesn't have the numbers, and also doesn't help that UFs OL in run blocking last year was complete dogshit.

I don't want to get in the middle fo thsi and I personally think both teams are poised to shine this year. I just wanted to respond to a couple of your points.
Absolutely, and I get that. But White was recovering from to ACL tears in successive years and was running behind Swift who got the majority of carries.
The Oline will have to be something you guys get straightened out, for sure. Your running game suffered mightily last year because of it. I think Pierce do a good job for you, fwiw. I do tend to believe that White is the better back, though.....but that could be homerism on my part. We should have a clearer picture soon, though, and that is exciting! Football is almost back! Let's hope it stays.

No. They’ve been stuck in the logjam that is UGA rbs. They may not be elite like Chubb and Michel but they aren’t disappointing going into their Junior/ RS SO seasons....
Even if I concede that Whites avg of 5.2 yards is concerning, including his most recent games being a career high for yards, there’s 2-3 more 4-stars to replace him. Kendall Milton, Daijun Edwards, and Kenny McIntosh all are going to be clamoring for carries (although barring injury, Edwards probably redshirts)

More aggressive playcalling could have spared a lot of time off the clock.
Auburn and texas A&M both managed to push the ball downfield on the Dawgs in the 4th quarter. But MuLLLen didnt even try. Maybe he didnt trust Trask? Maybe MuLLLen gets in his own way.
