Most of their best players seem to be from Florida, Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia. Even their running back is from California

You realize that the last Heisman Trophy winner from a Florida School was an Alabamian?

Alabama could decide tomorrow to just heavily key on in-state recruiting and build a damn good roster. But many of those would take a little longer to develop. You wouldn’t be in contention every doing that but championships could still be won.

Yes it has good talent, but it is not a huge state like Florida, Texas, and California, so Saban likes to go take much of the top talent from those states each year as well.
