during the National Anthem? Or will this be a coaches or school choice? Or is this the wrong board? We don't need a discussion about whether this is right or wrong, I just want to know if NCAA has stated any rules.

The NCAA has very little to do with the P5 Conferences wrt CFB and even less to do with PreGame activities on a Private or State University Campus

In college football the teams are usually in the locker room during the Anthem, much like NFL teams were until the Department of Defense paid the NFL to have the players on the sidelines for it.
