Bama fans bitched about that, but they didn't claim conspiracy theories about the refs being paid.
When you start dreaming up these fanatical situations about games being rigged is when you lose credibility.

You should probably look at what was being responded to. In the event you actually did do that before you posted, I have no idea how what you wrote is at all responsive.

I don't have any particular dog in this fight but find the cognitive dissonance displayed here is unreal.
How anyone can view that and not say "WTF" boggles my mind. He must be watching another official? Is this official on the Ole Miss sideline? On the toe of his shoe? Hilarious.
He was in the best position to make the call. It was literally in his lap. Why listen to another official 50 yards away?
I didn't watch the video close enough to see if his knee touched but obviously this official didn't originally think so given where he put his foot initially.
Watching him shuffle his foot while looking behind him, then turning his foot sideways and eventually putting the ball on the OPPOSITE side of his foot is

Don't you know, REC controls the media too.

Watch the replay and see where the ball was when his knee hit the ground. The ref was ABOUT to screw Bama big time.
This. I was pissed when he first put his foot down to mark the ball, but then noticed that he changed it when he finished spotting it.
I agree with both of these. The ref's first foot placement would have screwed us but we may have gotten a little more than we deserved, but it was pretty damn close to right!

Did it change the game? NO
Did it make the rest of the SEC cry and act like big titty babies, convinced that the refs are intentionally cheating so that Alabama can win? YES
Win/Win

i didn't watch much more than the 1st quarter or so in this game, so i have no real input.
i did find it funny when Alabama safety intercepted the ball, ran down field, fumbled it, and Ole Miss RB grabs it before it goes out of bounds.
Ole Miss players and coaching staff jumping up and down thinking they have the ball.
The side judge smirks and shakes his head as if to say, "Lulz, this is a Bama home game, this is definitely Bama ball"

Why do people keep responding to this thread? OP makes Les Miles look intelligent by comparison and the idiocy behind the topic has been debunked about five different ways.
This topic should be anchored and probably would be if it were LSU in the title.

Only a person suffering from paranoid schizophrenia would think that. You should consult your doctor - I'm sure they have drugs to help supress those voices.

wow these bama fans are insecure.
i clearly stated i have no stake in this whatsoever and only watched about 20 minutes of the game.
if the refs did or didn't cheat, do i actually believe it would have made a difference? helll no.
it was a moment on national television i found humorous, i'm not digging up conspiracy theories.
Jesus Bama fans.

I bet you didn't know your response only further validates my statement.
I'm being serious, you need to seek some counseling.
My original statement was obviously tongue-in-cheek but you're immediate defensive posture shows you have some hidden issues bothering you.
Honestly, seek some counseling - It can't hurt.

Would've been 2 minutes and 15 seconds if one of the two blocks in the back were called on the return. But, there are missed calls in every game.

Irrelevant. Why do people keep questioning the potential result of the game had the ref made the right spot? We know OM is over matched. That is not the point.
