Ol;e Miss hit a couple of big plays, but they still only managed 326 yards total, not exactly up to HUNH standards.

One thing so far about the Bama defense, it is extremely hard to run on them. The pass rush is also improving and hopefully the secondary follows suit, they looked better yesterday.

Hill hasn't run any sort of "hurry up" since the Arkansas game. He's shown his true colors. Allen, in his limited time, was at least trying to get everyone lined up quickly.

Actually no your excluding West Virginia also. They are now top 25. BTW isn't Auburn like 2-2 against there last 4 ranked opponents? See what I just did there?

Aggie sucks old mans balls....but Bama broke all kinds of records off in their arse yestrday.

I don't know that Saban has solved the HUNH but the way Bama played yesterday shows what they are capable of....no team in the country would have left BDS with a win yesterday.

Yes, it is called having a dominant defensive line that allows the other 7 guys to play in coverage and can also run sideline to sideline.

To be honest, we don't really run a hurry-up like we used to under Spavital. We did when Kingsbury ran the show, and McKinney was a notch slower, but now? Not nearly as fast as we used to. We don't huddle either, but our tempo is clearly not what it was before.

The problem Alabama has had is not necessarily the hurry up part, it is the no huddle part because we can't substitute which limits our coverage calls and exotic looks and blitzes we can bring.

The fact that our D-line has proven that it can create pressure and stop the run by itself without help from backers is a huge difference from the last 3 years. It allows us to play more simple and have more guys in the back end.

Yep, having sixteen guys out there and running five off is working. Moved the sideline.

Yesterday was the best I've ever seen a Saban team play against that type of offense - regardless of competition level. They looked finely tuned on defense . . . no confusion.

nope. It helps when the HUNH offense that you are playing is this year's version of A&M and their defense sucks arse so your D gets plenty of rest.

Hahaha so now A&M's offense is the equivalent of Vanderbilt?

Their D is turrible and they aren't great but to act like their O has been bad is just dumb.

nope but gauging the your D's performance off of just the A&M is not a wise decision.

No, A&M isn't very good.
