It's not all that random if you think about it. How old are recruits? If they are in the range of 17-19, then for their entire lives aggy has been absolutely irrelevant in the Big 12 and now the SEC. New conference, same aggy.

Exactly. Every current Aggy player has only known Mississippi St to have a better football program in their lifetimes.

MSU has a better bowl winning percentage, in every other category TAMU is better. The following is a link that compares the two teams, it is not even close.....

Easily I'd say, and honestly Moorhead is a better coach than Jimbo.

Thanks. Will relay your link to the World War II Vets so they can let everyone know how good A&M used to be in their 20s

Head to head record: Mississippi State leads 7-5 Last time ranked #1 Mississippi State: 2014 Texas A&M: 1957 Weeks in the top 5 since 2000 Mississippi State: 8 Texas A&M: 1 Since 2016, every SEC West school has a win vs Mississippi State except A&M. Since 1999 Mississippi State has more 10-win seasons. Aside from the days of ‘Nam and WWII, I think this is a fair assessment.

This reminds me, we haven’t had an “SEC Defensive Stats” thread this week... or did I miss it?

This is usually about the time they stop being posted each year though. Not sure why that is. I personally enjoy them.

Sounds like Texas fans who thinks they are too good for the Big 12.

Ironically the conference our admin thinks they are above is the SEC.

They seem to be okay w/ the B12, keep T3 revenue, play a big home/home non conf opponent and it's all good.

Fans? Maybe, but it's more about being tired of sucking. 10 years of mediocrity is brutal.
