Head to head record: Mississippi State leads 7-5
Last time ranked #1
Mississippi State: 2014
Texas A&M: 1957
Weeks in the top 5 since 2000
Mississippi State: 8
Texas A&M: 1
Since 2016, every SEC West school has a win vs Mississippi State except A&M.
Since 1999 Mississippi State has more 10-win seasons.
Aside from the days of ‘Nam and WWII, I think this is a fair assessment.

That happened a few years ago.

This is true. But I thought I’d give Texas A&M a few years to try to reestablish. But it doesn’t look like that will happen.

I support this grind.

There aren’t many programs worse than A&M.

Yes, fairly obvious they have been surpassed by daddy bulldog.

Jackie Sherrill says State is the better program.

Joe Lee Dunn also says State is the better program.

No A&M fans in this thread for some odd reason...hmm

Easily, A&M is not a top 30 program this century. Not even sure they are top 40.
2000-current:
No titles
.57 win %
Below .500 in conference
Below .400 vs non conf P5
Below .400 vs bowl opponents
Below .400 vs teams > .500
For all the shite the rant gives them, yall give A&M remarkably more respect than they ever received in the B12.

Damn y'all are vicious.
Everything you say is obviously true and I agree with your original assessment but I don't think it will last.
Moo State lost Mullen who I think is one of the best head coaches in college football and the Faggies picked up Jimbo Fisher who can obviously build a winner and combine that with recruiting in Texas and probably some tendrils extended out into Louisiana and Arkansas and I see A&M surpassing Moo State real soon.
Recruiting is a good indicator of future success as long as the team isn't held back by coaching. Moo State is in a State with really high talent per capita but with low overall population numbers and they're 1 of 2 big programs there and they have to compete for area recruits with LSU, Arkansas, Auburn and Alabama.

aggy is too busy inviting themselves to the big boy table to ever admit they can't handle the plate they are currently being served.
