Having certain teams protected is paramount.
They haven’t done a very good job of protecting Bama the last few years. Again, if that’s their goal they’re inconsistent at best.

ONE WORD: BIRMINGHAM

Why continue to allow a potential Heisman winner to take cheap shot after cheap shot? This is to the point of being borderline sadistic.
Because LSU and the fans complained. The targeting call against LSU is a warning to shut up and turn off the spotlight.

The way BK complained last night, I hope we have neutral refs for the GA. State game!

So we continue to allow cheap shots on generational talent to prove a point?
I mean, they got what they wanted. Bama and UGA are in the SECCG. I guess now they want to get two SEC teams in the final four, but you also have a shot at having the Heisman winner in the conference.
It makes no sense at all at this point.

Explain or do we just down vote for lack of explaination?

Been knowing it for years, why is this a shock to some?

What did you expect would happen when ESPN is suppling the money and now Gambling is involved.

We've known this for 90 years. Nothing new.

ACC has some cool venues for away games. UM, FSU, Clemson, GT, NC, UVA, VA Tech

What is their goal, with this corruption? They seem pretty inconsistent about it, whatever it is.
Easier explanation is they’re just idiots.
I guess the SEC Corruption Committee took a year off in 2022, because Bama was the most penalized team in the SEC.
They also took a year off in 2019, when we won it all.
This nefarious SEC Corruption Committee needs to tighten up and get their job done more consistently.

IF there is corruption the goal would be to ensure maximum SEC participation in the NC picture by insulating those that have the best shot from mess ups during conference play. Usually it is Bama because they are very good in their own right, but consider their protecting of LSU when the Honey Badger clearly dropped the ball prior to crossing the goalline in the 2011 SECCG.
Or they are incompetent.
Or they are incompetent.

You guys are pitiful.

They blew the call. They are not cheating.

That worthless bastards put themselves ahead of dedicated young men who are attempting to live out their lifelong dreams. It's hard to believe that those idiot fricks are as selfish as they have demonstrated themselves. It's a fricking game but to them it's worth shitting on many for the benefit of few

I've been on the corruption bandwagon since the PP7 "out of bounds" interception. As long as Saban is at Bama they will do everything they can to keep Bama relevant.
Go back to 99 and the officials signaling to stop the clock with 3 seconds left due to an injured Alabama player, then running off the field.
Despite what the rules say, the head of SEC officials later commented it was “ok because LSU didn’t deserve another play”. Imagine what those six-fingered incestuous Gump bastards would have done if the roles had been reversed.
Of course, if Josh “there is a Me in team”
Booty hits a wide-open Joe Domingeaux instead of trying to be the hero and running it in…

It’s what corrupt despotic bodies of authority do: we questioned them (called them out) on their phony sanctimonious “player safety” BS last week, so they decided to prove a point last night.
Question our authority, and you’ll pay.

Then why not admit it and try to improve. “Cheating” takes many forms.

quote:exactly. Refs make bad calls all the time - in every game, for every team, in every sport.
hey blew the call. They are not cheating.
To think there's some broad corruption starting at the top of the SEC and then filtering down to game referees who, by the way, are different for each game and aren't all from Alabama or Georgia - is just utter nonsense.
Refs work decades to get the SEC level. They're not taking cheating orders from the SEC office.
Even if they did, do you know how impossible it would be to get all game officials, for 12 games, to buy into that - without someone spilling the beans?
It's just preposterous.
Refs miss calls. It happens. Sometimes it works against us (and those are the ones we remember) and sometimes it works in our favor (but we forget about those).
