The first year in your graph is 2024. LSU played two power conference opponents and you have them down for one. I’ll assume the rest of your chart has inaccuracies as well.

It still doesn't change the fact that UF has played more OOC over the past 24 years (your timeframe) than LSU after talking all that shite.

We havent played Duke since 1991.... We played NC State under Holtz, UNC/NC STATE/ECU under Spurrier.

We played them in the 80s and 90s. 80s under Spurrier and 90s I forget who replaced Spurrier ... Barry Wilson maybe.
I don't know why I'm thinking we played them in the late 80s right after Joe Mo died of the heart attack. That few years is fuzzy in my brain. May have been the Todd Ellis, Robert Brooks, Sterling Sharpe, et al., years.

You’re already wrong. we played both USC and UCLA last year

Pretty sure the goal is for SoS to mean more rather than canceling the type of games people want to see.
If things don't change, it won't just be the OOC games you see go away. There will be no reason to be in a tough conference, no reason to do revenue sharing, etc. Top schools no longer benefit from the strength of smaller teams.
So, lets just hope SoS gets the attention it deserves in the future.

Alabama is trying to replace those games with LSU, but the SEC is being difficult saying it wouldn’t be fair to give Alabama three automatic conference wins.

If Bama cancels a non-conference game, it won't be Mercer.
Mercer went 11-3. They could probably upset FSU this year.

SC plays Virginia Tech and Clemson.
That's 2 acc teams. Hard to find a weaker conference to schedule a team from.

UGA & UCLA cancelled due to conference realignment (it was mutual); in hindsight, however, it may have been a good thing. I hate it 'cuz I'd planned on going to the game at the Rose Bowl since it's just a short neighborhood hop over to the stadium from where we live.
