Harlem Berry will learn a lot from Kewan Lacy next year.
They both really want to play for Lane Kiffin.
Glad they’re going to make it work out.

Maybe we could wait until we see if he's actually really good or not before we talk shite about keeping him.

Or maybe you could stop the leak from your gaping vagina and perk up a bit.

I'd wait to see if Lacy stays at ole miss before bragging about this. If the reports are true and we went above market for our offer to lacy, don't see them also throwing a ton of money for Berry when they're excited about Shekai Mills knight. Wilson has the connection to Berry but it's still ultimately coming down to money with most players and not sure how you can offer $1M+ to lacy then throw a bunch of money at Berry too.

Wouldn't be surprised if Lacy stays, he's really pushing his camp in Oxford next year.

With Ole Miss apparently paying Lacy $1.5 million plus to stay, I can't imagine anyone is paying that much to pry him away. Kiffin can get a much cheaper option to pair with Berry and be successful in his system.

We wanted Berry if we were losing Lacy. We strongly preferred to just keep Lacy.
LSU keeping Berry means they don't feel confident in pulling Lacy from Oxford.
Not sure why this is a win for LSU, since it means you missed out on your top choice (Lacy).

Exactly it’s all about money and on field coaches putting them in good positions to be successful.
Franks worth is outdated.

Agree with this. Lacy is worth a lot more to ole miss than he is to LSU and honestly we owe him for everything he did for us this year and he was not making much.

Berry has a very high ceiling, showed a lot of promise as a freshman. In Kififn's system, and in the natural maturation process, his numbers should only improve. He averaged 4.7 YPC in a shitty offense, Lacy averaged 5.0 in one of the best offensive systems in the country. See no reason why Berry couldn't average at least 5.0 YPC next year.

The melt when you guys realize thats not what this means and Lacy is coming too
As if LSU has given half a frick about money at all lately.
If Kiffin and LSU want Lacy. They will get him. Period. Lane very clearly has the full support of the boosters and university.

Not completely true. Those relationships get you in the door and if money is equal, those relationships win out. If the money is equal, Lacy will want to play for Kevin smith. So Frank Wilson and his ties to families, coaches, etc... still get ole miss in the door and might mean we just have to match and offer instead of surpass it.
