Jake almost seemed scared to throw over the middle. It seemed like he was only comfortable with back shoulder throws to the boundary. Stetson is confident dude who finds the open guy more often than not.

Didn't he sit on the bench for 3 years behind Fromm?

If so, you have your answer.

He also has an oline that blew Auburn off the ball all night, and players that torched Tutt.

I recall Fromm being more than suitable his first year.

That’s because Fromm wasn’t all that great...his team out-talented damn near everybody they played, so he won many games, but he wasn’t anything special...

I guess your HC was clueless about not using him last year?

Idk. Fromm put up 300+ and 3 td’s on bama in the SECC. Stetson has looked good for 2 games. I think Monken is just better than Coley.

Yes, because the HC calls the offensive plays.

The way he chimps out on the sideline pre-snap lends credence that he does, in fact, have a heavy hand in the offense.

That being said, I think a large difference this year is that Georgia can rely on the run if they need to. Stetson has never had to "pass to win", and that's when we'll see if he's actually a good Quarterback. Down 7, needs to go the length of the field with passes only?

I'm not so sure he'll be able to.

Stetson fans might not like it, but I would assume that’s when JTD comes in.

The same thing happened with Florida when we played turtle offense under Muschamp. It works until it doesn't, and you need to actually complete multiple passes.

Maybe Georgia will run on everyone and no one can stop them and Stetson will never actually have to pass to win, but it'll be an interesting experiment if they have to.

Stetson can sling it, dodged our 1st team defense with the scout team for several years.

Dude is cool as a cucumber, hell he calmer than Kirby.

We'll revisit this thread after Alabama, and one of us will be right.

And if you guys beat Alabama they'll be overrated. And us. And if you win it all we'll just say that it's year of the COVID and doesn't count.

Have you actually watched the LSU games this year? If you have and thought Brennan doesn’t look light years better than from the past 3 years you should choose a different sport to watch because you don’t know shite

Exactly. Fromm would’ve likely done an adequate job in this offense.

He sure as hell wouldn’t have thrown under 50% in SEC play.

Fair question. Has trask had to do that yet?
