It used to be this way. Someone decided that the A&M was a more recognizable and differentiating branding tool and pretty much everything includes it other than throwbacks.
Any of our uni's saying Texas Aggies triggers TF out of the longhorns too..
I wish we'd move to Texas Aggies fulltime

"The first institution of higher education in Texas" is a demonstrable lie (surprise, surprise).
Baylor begin in 1845 and I think Southwestern U in Georgetown is older, too.

I agree. Did they stop putting it in the endzones within the last decade? I thought it was a great look.
