Why didnt you? They'd already put up pretty good numbers against top defenses in Auburn and Florida.

And again, did you see the same LSU team in 2019 that you did the previous 8 games?

Obviously we didn’t know because we hadn’t played y’all yet

Favoring a team on an 8 game winning streak is not stupidity

It actually is because none of that had anything to do with 2019 LSU.

Most of that streak was against an entirely different head coach.

C'mon man...we had run roughshod over every opponent passing game wise up til the Bama game.

Even though the scores don't indicate it (cuz our D blew at that time), we were dominating people.

Nick had to have seen it coming.

Florida’s secondary was very suspect and they struggled against Miami.

Y’all also struggled against Auburn’s defense so I don’t know what that’s an argument

Y’all did the same in 2018 so obviously we were skeptical

So why should LSU have been favored then?

Miami's quarterback was 19/30, 214 yards, 1 TD

Burrow threw for 321 yards.

If a 5 point win was an "arse whipping", what the frick do you call the 29-0 game the previous year? 29 points is a larger margin of victory than LSU has ever had against Alabama in the entire history of the sport.

Joe Burrow played that game with a separated shoulder. He didn't go crying to the media about it, because he's not a pussy. On top of that, if LSU would have changed their archaic offense that year, it would have been 45-29.

Take your medicine like a man. I watched the game more times than you did. Every time I watched, I objectively came to the conclusion that LSU whipped Bama's asses up and down the field. In the fourth quarter, whenever Bama would "threaten," we shoved it up your defense's asses... TWICE, and there was nothing Bama could do.

LSU was ranked #1 when they played Bama so obviously they'd garnered some respect.

So if Bama was "crippled" like yall keep insisting, why wouldnt LSU be favored?

We didn't throw a TD pass in the month of October.

unforced turnovers

A delay of game negated a 4th down conversion at the bama 36.
Your second TD occurred because the CB was staring at the sideline
For whatever God only knows reason, Aranda played tight coverage across the board, up 2 scores with 90 seconds left.
A facemask is what flung Waddle into perfect position to get his punt return.
etc.

I could probably write a book on the number of unforced turnovers, fluke plays, insanely idiotic coaching decisions, bullshite game changing penalties, that helped you win 8 games in a row.

Stop whining

And put up 23 points.

Tanner Morgan threw for 278 yards against Auburn and put up 31 points

Mac Jones threw for 335 yards and put up 45 points.

How does that point to Florida's secondary struggling like you stated?

Okay?

Auburn's secondary was still good. They scored 14 points in that game.
