Seems like it was Flott, that'd give you two freshmen and an injured Delpit in the secondary.

No wonder Bama was able to stay "close".

LSU fans who would rather try and frame it any other way to make it seem as though the game wasn't as close as it was.

I'm starting to question whether or not you actually watched the game. Anybody who watched it objectively would conclude it was an outright arse whipping. I think you just looked at the box score, and came to your conclusion.

Probably turned it off at halftime.

People picked Bama to beat LSU, some very confidently and in blowout fashion, knowing what players would be on the field. Now, they want to bring up injuries.

LSU was without 2 defensive starters and our best defensive player wasn't even practicing because of an ankle injury.

No shite. We were on a 8 game winning streak and didn’t know yet how good our defense was.

That’s all you had as backups.

That’s all we had as starters

I've probably watched the game more times than you have. Here's a good link that condenses the game down to just the plays themselves. It's the one I watch a good bit.

Alabama vs LSU, 2019 (in under 36 minutes)

I watched it so many times due to disagreeing with most Alabama fans about what happened. They all blame the defense(which was not up to Bama standards), while I point out that the offense is the one who caused Alabama's loss as Tua fumbled the ball without being touched, the punter fumbled the ball on a snap and Tua made a stupid arse throw to give LSU an easy TD before the half.

You won by 5 points after getting the benefit of unforced turnovers and there is nothing you can say to change that.

I'll ask you the same question I ask other LSU fans. Lets see if you'll be the 1st one that has the balls to answer.

If a 5 point win was an "arse whipping", what the frick do you call the 29-0 game the previous year? 29 points is a larger margin of victory than LSU has ever had against Alabama in the entire history of the sport.

Before the game did you know that you had injuries or not? Did you pick Bama to win anyway or not? The person I responded to did and it was pointed out that he out five grand on Bama because he was so confident. To bring up injuries after the game when you lose a bet like that is weak.

Was this information available before the game was played when people on this board were picking Bama to when, some in blowout fashion and super confident?

Also, if those were your starters, they were more experienced than when we lose a starter in the game and an inexperienced true freshman back up has to come into the game, on the road.

I still thought Alabama could win despite the injuries.

Still think they should have won despite the injuries if Tua hadn't played like dog shite(INB4 another Alabama fan posts his 4 TD stats without context).

It was a year when the offense should have been good enough to make up for the injuries and lack of experience in the defense, instead they turned the ball over 2 times, then again on special teams and they only managed to score 7 points the entire game until late in the 3rd quarter. Instead of giving the defense a little help and support as it needed, the offense did the exact opposite.

Slightly better defense could have made the difference in such a close game, no doubt. But I find their performance more understandable, especially since LSU ended up with the #1 offense. While I can find 0 excuses for what Tua and the offense did.

I thought Bama came out tight and before the game I said I thought the soft schedule up to that point may make the game a little too big for the younger players. LSU was battle tested already before that game and I thought it showed.

Don't get me wrong, I understand every team has their challenges. My original comment was to the biggest LSU troll on the board and then it went from there.

I thought Bama did a good job using their athletes to score on the 3 big plays to stay in the game. LSU controlled the game, but Bama had their chances to win anyway.

Very good point. LSU had already been in close games with Auburn, Texas, and Florida. They were pretty much ready for the game while it took us a while to adjust since our early season schedule was dogshit.

Hopefully our early season games against USC and UGA will help us out here next season

And you all haven’t had a 15-0 season in 4.5 billion years.

Congrats?

I would rather win 4 championships in a decade than go 15-0 once and be mediocre every other year

Anyway 14-0 is close enough for me

What does this have to do with recognizing that you have depth and roster issues before the game while, according to you, LSU did not? Did you REALLY see the same LSU team win the first 8 games of the season?

Basically you're saying "I just picked Bama to win because of past history, but since we lost I'm gonna bring up all of these issues."

It definitely should even if USC isn't the USC of old, it's still a quality opponent that you have to take seriously and prepare for.

USC has a very good QB and a couple of elite WRs that will test our defense early

Literally every Bama fan recognized that our defense was not elite, especially after the SC game.

None of y’alls injuries even came close to matching Moses’s impact
