Julio got the Denali right before signing with bama. It was a gift from an uncle in Oklahoma.

Do you honestly think that Julio Jones and Mark Ingram bought those brand new Tahoes with their own money when they were 19 years old?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
yes. Know the dealer who sold them the rides.
Cept you apparently didn't know what type of ride was "sold" to Julio.

however, just because they self reported doesn't mean that will have the desired effect on HaHa's eligibility, although he probably won't be ruled permanently ineligible
Well, I agree that HaHa should go sit at the house until draft day. I'm just talking about punishment for Alabama.

I would 100% guarantee that they have more insight to the situation and possible punishments than you, I, or anyone else in this thread, yes.

Slap on the wrist incoming

Anyone saying that Alabama has a history of "slaps on the wrist" from the NCAA is genuinely retarded.

i think Alabama is fine. They could make them vacate the first 4 games from this year, but doubt it. The worst thing I could see happening to them is losing a couple scholarships. The only real question in my mind in this whole thing is what effect this has on HaHa. The coach surely will not be back.

How do you think this minor infraction was brought to light? Seems strange that anyone ever found out about it.

I feel bad for the assistant strength coach. Probably some young guy just doing what he is told and trying to get ahead.

And that would be too harsh.

Nothing for Bama. 2-4 game suspension for Ha Ha.

I didn't read this entire thread, but how many BAMA posters are in here saying this is OK and he should be allowed back on the field?

He was probably aware that he was at risk of taking the fall if they got caught.
