Gut check time for LSU and A&M

Both had playoff aspirations coming into the season. Loser of this game is realistically knocked out before October 1st.
I know there are some gripes about this game getting the primetime game slot, but it is by far the most meaningful SEC match up this weekend. Excited to see how this one plays out.

Man LSU gets them two years in a row at home. That's fortunate considering LSU hasn't won in college station in over a decade.

How much would LSU love to finish off A&M or vice versa. It is a big game for both teams.

A&M is a 6 to 8 win team. LSU is a 7 to 9 win team. Neither is going to playoffs.

A&M sucks. Quit hyping it just to feel better about LSU beating a “quality” opponent.
