Every Auburn coach from Pat Dye to Chizik went undefeated in the SEC at least once, right? And all were fired or pushed out. What's even more interesting to me is that Bowden, Tubs and Chizik all had perfect seasons on their resumes and were dismissed.

Soon, Gus. Soon. . .

Not that you care about truth or facts, but only Chizik was fired. Dye, Bowden, and Tubs all left on their own.

I feel you. LSU fans just think we can hire anyone. They obviously don't know our record with coaches since McClendon. They had a sec storied on one last night.

And yet they keep getting fired. .
So, as long as we're making hypotheticals here:

If Les had gone 3-9, 0-8 in 2009, including a 42-point home loss to Florida, and closing out the year with losses to Ole Miss and Arky by a combined score of 87-0, would you still be in favor of 'sticking by him'?

Tubs left on his own? Yeah sure keep telling yourself that. Tubs and Dye did not get along and Pat Dye could not wait to be rid of him. One bad season and he was gone..But you know, he left on his own..

Funny how this is the same story different coach for them. No matter what they do it always plays out the same. just cursed

Remember when Van Gorder was gonna be defensive saviour and guru? He flopped at Au. DC Paul Rhodes was run off and has done a nice job (still has it at least) at ISU. Seems like every coordinater they run off is successful after they leave Au. They tried so hard to be different than Bama that they've lost their identity of whats made them relevant in the past. Always have to be part of the next fad, look at us look at us.

Over his last two full seasons, his record there was 5-19. Sound familiar?

I don't remember Paul Rhodes being run off...he just didn't return after Tommy Tuberville was fired, and he then got the head coaching job at Iowa State. He actually fielded a very quality defense with next to zero depth. He also did a damn fine job considering the abortion that was the offense in 2008.

Makes you wonder if Chizik and Cam were the reason they won in 2010. At this rate Gus is slightly better than Houston nutt or Larry Coker

Go outside, get some fresh air, stop obsessing over Auburn's head coach.

Yep,Gus is a good OC,but unproven and dropping head coach.

Like Muschamp was,he is out of his element.
