I didn't know y'all were searching for a new coach. You got some inside knowledge??

No we're not searching for a new coach but my ideal scenario is that when BP moves on in 5 years or so that we are at a place where Gus has just a handful of years as a head coach under his belt and comes back home to take over as our head coach.

I know an Auburn guy that is good friends with the Malzahn's and hangs out with them regularly and he has said many times that Gus makes it no secret that he wants to coach Arkansas one day. :fingerscrossed:

You think Pat Sullivan is going to Auburn?

Would be awesome

But he's talking about Lashlee the OC at Samford, I think we go in a different direction.

I'm late to this party, but he would know. He also owns AU undercover site and has coached in SEC before. Dude has connections.

Yeah QB's with little to no experience...so to say he can't develop a QB is completely stupid. Now if there was no improvement with our QB next year, then there may be some weight to your statement...

Lashlee has some experience under Malzahn but I wouldnt give him the reigns just yet. I just think he is too young to be an OC.

I see that as more likely to happen than Auburn hiring him out right. I don't think Rhett has been in the job long enough to be the OC at a big time school all on his own yet. He could still learn under Malzahn at UNC and then move to another school in a few years down the road.

Ok. Tell me what QB he has developed, ever. I don't know why you're getting so bent over that remark. It's true. Just as it's true that he's amazing with a good QB.

I don't know enough about him to say for sure, but that is my general sentiment as well.

Who's getting bent? Just pointing out your statement is stupid...and look at Chris "Noodle for an Arm" Todd's stats his senior year...

Well, I guess this needs to be thrown in here as well. Urban Meyer as OC? It could be the low stress solution he needs to get back in the coaching relm.
