Guess Gus is jumping ship be for the NCAA hammer hits.

Smart move.

Looks like Vandy made a better hire than Florida.

I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you because I know your personality, but if you're trying to suggest you know anything more about the Auburn program than I do then you're absolutely wrong.

I have no idea what we'll do for a new OC, but it's my understanding from multiple conversations with Auburn administrators that the switch to the spread was so that auburn could compete immediately with terrible defensive depth and talent.

Now that the numbers on defense are back in order, it should surprise nobody if Auburn gos back to a pro offense.

On the other hand, the spread has been successful and it's easier to hire spread OCs from small schools than pro offense OCs from bigger schools.

You should be familiar with it...you've used the same knock on Alabama/Saban any time an assistant has changed jobs.

I apologize. I responded to harshly. I was just in the mood to be a smartass. Also, the fact that people seem so obsessed with the hat occasionally gets old. No offense bro.

Need more proof of the Aubsession that goes on with this board? The stickied Muschamp thread from yesterday has been passed in less than an hour by this one.

Because we don't have any mensa members on our coaching staff like Gus.

You'd think the barn would pony up 4 million to keep a guy like Gus. Heck they should demote Cheezit and make Gus head coach since everybody knows who made the train run anyway.

Yep. I think it'd be safer to become a successful coordinator before you get your chest bumping on.
