Let's look at facts:

Fact #1: Dude is going to get paid a lot of money to run the ball in the NFL.

Fact #2: Dude is going to get paid a lot of money quickly.

Fact #3: The one thing that can greatly change Fact #2 and impact Fact #1 is a major injury before the contract is signed.

Fact #4: The Heisman trophy is out of the picture.

Fact #5: A national title is out of the picture.

Fact #6: An SEC title is out of UGA's control.

Fact #7: Gurley threw #4 and #5 away for money. He obviously likes money.

Fact #8: Tanking will not hurt your draft stock as evidenced by last year's #1 overall pick.

Put all these facts together and I see an unmotivated running back who will not be looking for lots of running time or contact Saturday. Will Richt still give him 25 carries? Will UGA's second blackout to a team from Alabama look a lot like the first?

Gurley had a hefty insurance policy. He will be paid regardless.

Remember Gurley gets testy when challenged in a game. I personally think he is going to be one pissed off dude running. Now he could be overhyped to make things happen, but I think the fact that Chubb and Michel are also going will help him realize he doesn't have to carry the whole load.

Todd the autograph signing money loving team betraying Gurley is not a DGD... I don't ever want to see him in red and black.

If any this shite you listed was remotely true why would he even come back? Why not just say frick it, hire an agent get paid & start training for the draft. Nothing he was suspended for would affect his draft stock in the least. If he went ahead & declared pro it would be 4-possibly 5 games less wear & tear on his body, ergo he'd be that much more attractive to the NFL teams...

You didn't think this one thru...
