Can you imagine telling someone from 1997 that Tenn got turned down by the Oklahoma State coach despite offering a huge pay raise?
It would be considered madness. Last 20 years have been a butch for Vol football.

Not sure what else Vols could do to get him. Hell of a run at him though. Just too strong of a tie to Okie St, T Boone, etc..

You're falling for the UT AD bullshite again if you think this is a strike. It's the exact same rumor as the Gruden for 10M/yr which was already admitted to be fake. This is yet another fake story to sell a d-list coach as the only option IMO.
