I still hope 'Bama wrecks 'em tomorrow.

You got Stockholm Syndrome, man. You can escape your captors and root for their downfall now. Tomorrow, we fight for all of y'all.

Don't go to Rudy's for BBQ unless you like Rudy's.

Waiting an hour for a hamburger at Hopdoddy's is an hour better spent elsewhere.

There are more food trucks in Austin than you can imagine, some of which routinely make Top 10 lists. Ask the locals where ever might be and I'm sure they could direct you to a neighborhood favorite.

A rare good thread. I'm sure it's helpful to those who will be visiting Austin for the first time. Those SEC fans who travel know most of the other college towns/cities well but maybe not Austin or Norman.

The brewery district is up near the Domain. But if you're near downtown, Zilker is solid. My buddy/neighbor is the brewmaster at Lazarus Brewing Co. too.

I actually hit most of those. Just getting back to the hotel. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.

Pound some pedialyte. Bring your sunscreen, straw hat, light moisture wicking long sleeve and light pants. It's going to be 100 degrees in the shade.

Treat it like a fishing trip in the keys.

Tide will roll bigly!
